Field Day is fast approaching and
we have been asked to get a rough estimate of attendance. Please reply to this email if your child, you
or another family member will be attending.
This count also needs to include siblings. The kitchen staff is trying to work out how
much food to order. Please remember that
TTH families are more than welcome to attend this day but an adult will need to
stay to supervise. We would advise any
families from TTH that want to attend plan on putting together a group so your
children can rotate through the stations with familiar faces. Mrs. Koob will be sending out times and a
SignUpGenius soon with all other details.
The caterpillar study will last
another week. Hopefully the butterflies
will show their faces before the end of the school year.
We have had a few questions with
regards to when the final day of the current school session falls. TTH final day will be May 31st. MWF final day will be May 30th. If your child is enrolled in the summer TTH
session the 1st day will be Tues, June 5th. If your child is returning for summer session
on MWF the 1st day will be Mon, June 4th. Many of you have mentioned that your child
will not be returning after field day.
We will be handing out assessments, spare clothes, journals etc. on
Thursday, 24th and Friday, 25th. This way anyone that chooses not to return
will have all of their child’s belongings.
Mrs. Angela will be saying her goodbyes on those days. She will be on vacation the last week of
May.
Please feel free to take your
child’s Star of the Week posters home beginning this week.
All book orders are due in by May
14th. This is the last
opportunity to order this school year.
