Ms. Brooke’s Newsletter:  April 27, 2012

  • This Week:
This week was very busy but so much fun!!!  We talked a lot about keeping our Earth
clean.  The children were so proud of
their project made out of recyclables.
They loved driving their cars through the town and in the tunnels and
down the ramps.  On Tuesday, we painted
signs with a few 7th grade girl… I don’t think they realized what
they had got themselves into.  On
Wednesday, We also looked great in our superhero costumes.  Team Recycle looked great.  Thursday was fun cheering on the Pre-K kids
while they hopped during the Hop-a-thon.
Friday we sang the song we learned (mainly Ms. Brooke sangJ) and blessed our garden our garden
    with Father Tom.
  • Next Week:
Next week, I have lots of activities planned to celebrate Cinco de
Mayo.  The activities are designed to
teach them a few words in Spanish, and (like always) work on those skills we
    are fine tuning.
  • Does anyone have yogurt containers
    with a lid?
I need 6 to 8.  Email me if you can help.
  • We are CLOSED the following days:  May 28 for Memorial Day
  • Parent Conferences:  A few of you noted that you would like to meet.  I have determined that I will do conferences
the week of April 30 to May 4.  The time
slots I have available are 7 to 7:30 and 2:30 to 3.  Everyone who wanted a time has already sat it
up.  I look forward to meeting with you
    again.
  • Parent Communication Forms:
Those who are not interested in a conference, I will put the family
conference forms in your mailbox for you to view.  They should be in your box by the end of next
    week.
  • Plant Sale:  May 4 and May 5.  Come
by buy the plants your child grew.  We are
    in charge of the chives.
  • Service Day:
May 5:  Come out from 9 to 12 to
help beautify our grounds.  I will be
here with my family, and I hope to see some of you too.  We will be planting stuff, adding mulch, and
    cleaning out leaves.

Thanks for your support.  Let me know if you need anything.
