Kindergarten Round Up

OUR LADY OF THE PRESENTATION

Our Lady of the Presentation School is an Elementary School Kindergarten through 8th grade. Working in a partnership with our communities, the Diocese of Kansas City St. Joseph schools will be distinctly Catholic, academically excellent and fiscally stable.

We invite you to join us for an informal meeting about Kindergarten at OLP School.  We hope that you will please ask questions and discover the benefits of a catholic education. We believe in a commitment to service. We develop the whole person by creating a bond among parents, students, home, school and church so that all share a strong sense of community.  We combine academic excellence with a committed staff and many activities for students and families to become involved.

    • To foster independent problem solvers and logical thinkers

Our Featured Class of the Week

Our featured class of the week is Ms. Kim’s 3′s & 4′s classroom.  Ms. Kim explains what she loves about her classroom here at OLP ECC.

Hi Everyone!!!! This is Mrs. Kim from Rm. 4 and I am really excited to be our featured room of the week.  I decided to do things a little  differently.  I wanted you to hear from my  friends, your children, what that love about coming to school.  When I asked Joseph he said he likes to dig  in Mrs. Kim’s big art box.  Kaira said  that she likes circle time. Ella said that she likes to do writing in our
classroom.  Brooks said that his favorite part of our classroom is doing science experiments.  Cassy said that she likes to play with her
friends Kaira and Ella. Sara said that her favorite thing about our classroom  is that she likes to dance.  Thomas said his favorite thing to do in our room is to color with his friend Ella.  Kaiden said he likes the trains and blocks in our room and the trucks too!!! Lucy said her favorite thing to do is dance with the sticks. My favorite things to do are laugh and have fun.

Yes during school we are learning  our letters, and numbers, shapes and colors.  We talk about the weather, learn about patterns, and how things grow. We  conduct different science experiments and learn about different community  helpers. But most importantly we are learning that Jesus loves us all!!! We are  also learning that we are all SUPER STARS, and great dancers and good singers.  We are learning that it is fun to get dirty and be silly, and giggle and laugh.  So thank you for sharing your children with  me each day and giving me that gift of laughter.

Welcome to Presentation ECC

Established in 1987 as a faith-based preschool, Our Lady of the Presentation Early Childhood Center in Lee’s Summit is a NAEYC accredited program dedicated to providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.

 

Enrollment is available August through May or on a year-round basis for children ages 12 months through Pre-K. Our friendly, well-trained teachers and staff provide and maintain a modern facility and nurturing environment for learning.
